Ms. María Consuelo Vega León obtained her B.A. degree in Translation and Interpretation from the University of Málaga. She completed her M.A. degree in Teachers’ Training of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) at the University of Granada. She obtained her second M.A. degree in Applied Linguistics from FUNIBER, Iberoamerican University Foundation, and University of Jaen. She taught Spanish as intern at CLM, Centre of Modern Languages, at the University of Granada. She also taught in Russia, at the Udmurt State University and collaborated with the Instituto Cervantes in Moscow. Her research focuses on teaching methods regarding intercultural stereotypes, cultural shock, interculturality and Non-Verbal Communication (NVC).
