Tien Chi Microcomputer Laboratory – Creative Media Studio

The Creative Media Studio is designed for United College students and staff to conduct multimedia projects and live stream video production.

Equipment includes:

• Full HD Video Cameras
• Live production switcher
• Audio mixer
• 32” Full-HD LED TV
• LED Lights
• Microphones
• Chroma Key Backdrop
• Furniture for video shooting

United College students and staff

Please bring your SD card for video recording.

To ensure fair access to all eligible users, please observe the following guidelines:

1. The Creative Media Studio is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Booking can be made up to 3 days in advance via online booking system.
2. Duration of each booking session is 1 hour from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday during trial period. If you need to book 2 hours consecutively, you need to reserve 2 sessions by 2 bookings.
3. A maximum of 4 sessions can be reserved per week per each user.
4. Users are required to present confirmation email and CU Link Card for checking at our counter.
5. Users who failed to check-in to the reserved room 10 minutes after the booking session begins will be forfeiting their reservation.
6. No-show without making any cancellation with count against the quota limit.
7. Users must make sure they have saved their media files in their own storage devices before leaving the Studio.
8. Eating or drinking is strictly prohibited in the studio.
9. Users are responsible for any damages of the furniture and equipment in the studio.
10. The studio is reserved for booking and use by eligible United College students and staff members for educational and non-commercial purposes ONLY.
11. College staff reserve the right to enter the studio for inspection during users’ reserved sessions whenever needed.
12. UC Students can reserve the studio by login to Online Booking system (press button below).
13. UC Staff can reserve the studio by calling our staff at 2603 6366.

Login to Online Booking System

→ Choose “Tien Chi Microcomputer Laboratory”
→ Click “Tien Chi Microcomputer Laboratory – Creative Media Studio”
→ Choose booking date & time in timetable
→ Fill in your name and contact phone no. in “Booking Title” (e.g. CHAN, Tai Man 98765432)
→ Choose date and time
→ Input your booking purpose and number of users in “Description Box”
→ Press “Book” to finish your booking process
