促进中风后自我管理及康复进程
中风后的康复过程漫长而复杂，期间患者需面对生理、心理与社交等方面的种种挑战，以及应对中风后常见的后遗症如活动、认知和感官功能受损等，故此需要进一步探讨有效促进中风后康复的循证介入方案。
卢海珊助理教授进行了多项研究，探讨以提升自我效能和成果预期为基碍的自我管理计划，能否有效促进社区中风人士的康复进程，并制订了一套透过社区支援助患者提升自我效能的中风后自我管理计划。研究结果显示，此创新的自我管理模式有助中风病人在出院回家过渡期间的自我管理及促进康复。另一方面，周柏珍教授研发及评估了多项创新的中风康复服务及介入方案，例如虚拟跨专科中风护理诊所、帮助患者融入社会的虚拟实境介入方案、坐式太极拳等，为拓展中风康复知识和科学实践作出贡献。她还就针灸治疗对纾缓中风后偏瘫肩痛，以及坐式太极拳对促进身心健康及人际关系之成效，进行系统综述并发表有关研究成果。
目前，我们的研究团队正进行多项创新研究，以帮助中风人士重投社区及在家进行平衡、步态和记忆力训练。我们更设计和验证了数个繁体中文版中风专用量表，以测量中风人士对自我管理和社会参与的自我效能感，以及其躯干损伤程度和健康相关生活质素等。
