Recently, people tend to strengthen their immune system by doing a lot of different exercises, such as hiking, jogging, cycling or practicing yoga on their own at home. However, if they are not proficient at that exercise or working out excessively, they may easily get sprained or bruised. The followings are some common sports injuries:
Upper Limb: Tennis/ Golfer Elbow, Finger Joints Injury (usually injured after playing basketball) & Shoulder Injury
Lower Limb: Fractures, Ankle Sprain, Knee Injury, Hamstring Strain & Planter Fasciitis
These injuries seem to be common, however, if they are not treated properly, the injured regions may become fragile and the injuries would recur repeatedly.
If you have experienced the above-mentioned injuries or symptoms, you can join “Integrative Medicine Musculoskeletal Injury Program” launched by Integrative Medical Centre (IMC) to relieve the discomfort. Joints examination will be included in the program to each participant.
