Transportation
One of the advantages of living in Hong Kong is our safe, efficient and reliable transportation network. Getting from point A to B is fast and easy by taking our world-class metro system, the MTR, or travelling by bus, mini-bus, tram or taxi. We also have a ferry system to get you across Victoria Harbour or to one of Hong Kong’s outlying islands. Best of all, the cost is reasonable, especially when making use of Hong Kong’s handy Octopus card, which can be used for any mode of transport except taxi.

With your mobile phone, you can buy a short-term pay-as-you-go SIM card or sign a reasonably-priced longer-term contract from one of several local service providers.
