Dinner for Families of the Class of 2016 cum Awards Ceremony

Families of the Class of 2016, Fellows, and students joined together on 13 April to recognize the conclusion of the graduating student’s time at Morningside and the recipients of various college awards. Class speakers, Kelvin Choy and Benjamin Hestevold, both fondly reflected on their original reasons for choosing Morningside and how the college grew to eventually take on much more meaning in their lives through the space, friends, and opportunities it provided. Awards delivered included the David Parker General Education Best Essay Prize, Morningside Achievement, Service, and Spirit Awards, and the inaugural Chang Vei Sing Scholarship—a full tuition academic and need-based scholarship awarded to Lam Chun Yin (Year 1 Physics). Congratulations to the award winners, and many thanks to the families that attended!
