The Global Fellowship Scheme offered by the University of St Andrews, UK is now calling for applications.

 

Global Fellowship Scheme at University of St Andrews, UK (Deadline: 1 March 2023)

Aim Global Fellowship Scheme at the University of St Andrews provides funding support to enable talented scholars from around the globe to spend up to one month at St Andrews.

 

Awarded fellows will be able to undertake a course of research and study, explore potential collaborations, enhance existing relationships, advance research work, and find the space to think in an inspirational environment.

Date
  • Awarded fellows will engage virtually with students and colleagues throughout the 2023-2024 academic year
  • One-month visit at St Andrews will be conducted during 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2024
Eligibility
  • Applicants must hold an academic position
  • Should be recognised as a significant scholar in their field or an emerging leader who has contributed to original research that extends the frontier of knowledge
  • Have completed a PhD degree or equivalent
  • Employed in a university or research institute based outside the UK
Terms of Award
  • Stipend of GBP 1,000 for a 4-week visit (or per day sum for shorter visits)
  • Self-catered accommodation in a one-bedroom apartment or equivalent
  • Return airfare in economy class to be arranged by University of St Andrews
  • Airport transfers to and from St Andrews
  • Access to University IT and library facilities
Application Interested participants should complete the application form and submit it with an academic CV both in PDF format to globalfellows@st-andrews.ac.uk by 1 March 2023.
