Cheng Ming Award 2017/18

The Cheng Ming Award is the highest honour bestowed on New Asia students, awarded in view of the candidates’ excellent academic performance, good conduct and outstanding leadership calibre. All New Asia final-year students regardless of majors are now invited to apply for this award. Recipient(s) of the award will be given a certificate, medal and HK$40,000 scholarship. The scholarship will be evenly divided if there are more than one recipients.

online application form here. Deadline for application is Friday, 13 April 2018, 5:00 p.m. Applicants must submit printed confirmation email with their supporting documents and recommendation forms* to the Dean of Students’ Office on or before the deadline.

*Remarks:
(1) The recommendation form should be completed and sent through mail to "Mr. Howard Kwan, Dean of Students' Office, New Asia College" directly by a teaching staff of CUHK.
(2) Supporting documents (Transcript, activities proof etc.) must be submitted directly to Dean of Students’ Office.
(3) Submission of transcript is required. The unofficial one downloadable from CUSIS is also acceptable.
(4) Applicants have to submit the proof of participation in activities/social Services (eg. letters, certificates).
