Application for College Scholarships (Term 1, 2017/18)

Application Deadline: 13 October 2017 (Friday) 5:00 p.m.

 

College scholarships in term 1, 2017/18 are now open for application. 

 

Interested students should read the guidelines and submit online application through the College website by the application deadline. Late submission will NOT be accepted. 

 

Below is a list of scholarships that are open for application:

Mr. David Lim Scholarship

Outstanding admission results with Fujian (福建) as place of origin (籍貫)

Scholarship for Pro Bono English Volunteer Teaching

$42,100

All undergraduates

Good standard of English (level 5 or above in English Language in HKDSE, or equivalent). Recipients need to commit no less than 160 hours of voluntary English tutoring services to underprivileged students in a year.

Yale-China Association Scholarships

$6,500

Year 2 or above undergraduates

Year GPA of 3.3 or above, outstanding leadership qualities and commitment to community services in Hong Kong

New Asia College Alumni Golf Association (NAGAA) CUHK Golden Jubilee Golf Day Scholarship

$10,000

All undergraduates

Year GPA of 3.0 or above and financial needs. Preference is given to students with outstanding performance in sports, especially in Golf

Mr. and Mrs. Pikai Tchang Memorial Scholarship

Final-year undergraduates

Outstanding performance in General Education Courses (both University GE and College GE). One award is reserved for student majoring in Economics


 

After submitting your online applications, you are required to submit supporting documents to the Dean of Students' Office, 1/F, Cheng Ming Building, New Asia College before the deadline. For details, please refer to the checklist for supporting documents. Please mark your online application reference number, which can be found in the confirmation email, on the top-right corner of all your supporting documents. Your application would be cancelled if we do not receive the supporting documents before the deadline.
