IE Almunus Edmond Lau on the Forefront of FinTech

While the term 'FinTech' has been the rage for only about five years, finance and technology have gone hand in hand for quite some time. IE alumnus Mr. Edmond Lau, who is currently the managing director of Lingfeng Capital and focusing on FinTech investment, noted that the financial sector is always the first to take advantage of a technological breakthrough. Nowadays, with artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing and big data, finance could come with more transparency, safety, cost-efficiency and individuality.
