IE Alumnus Stephen Po Reveals his Secrets for ACG Entrepreneurship

QooApp should be no stranger to ACG (anime, comics, and games) lovers. The creator of this ACG community platform with more than 20 million users, Mr. Stephen Po, raised Series A funding led by the Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund in 2018, bespeaking the potential of this startup.

Stephen was an alumnus from the Information Engineering Programme in 1999. During his undergraduate days, he took many electives in software development and computer graphics for his great interest in computer graphics, fictions and comics. He set up a Facebook app, "Memoriki", which specialized in online games in 2009 and a startup “QooApp” at 2014 to bring Japanese ACG productions to the global market.
