IE Alumni received remarkable achievements in Hong Kong Young Scientist Award 2014

We are pleased to share some good news from IE alumni who get remarkable achievement in the 2014 Hong Kong Young Scientist Award:

Dr. Xu Chen (IE PhD 2012) received the Runner-Up award of 2014 Hong Kong Young Scientist Award in Physical/Mathematical Science. Xu is currently a Humboldt Scholar Fellow at the University of Goettingen, Germany. (http://www.net.informatik.uni-goettingen.de/people/xu_chen).

Dr. Lingjie Duan (IE PhD 2012) is a finalist of the 2014 Hong Kong Young Scientist Award in Engineering Science. Lingjie is currently an Assistant Professor at the Singapore University Technology and Design (http://esd.sutd.edu.sg/faculty/lingjie-duan/).

Both Xu and Lingjie graduated from Prof. Jianwei Huang's research group (Network Communications and Economics Lab). Xu was also supervised by Prof. Peter Yum during his first two years of PhD study.
