The Charles K. Kao Foundation for Alzheimer's Disease will re-organise the annual “Christmas Charity Sale” in the end of this year after its suspension for two years due to social incidents and novel coronavirus threat. The event will raise fund for the foundation to not only offer appropriate services to the patients with Alzheimer’s disease, their families and caregivers, but also promote public awareness towards dementia.
This Centre is now assisting the Charles K. Kao Foundation for Alzheimer’s Disease to recruit volunteers providing on-site support for the charity sale. Details are as follows:
Period: 1 to 27 December 2021
Time: Three time slots, each of them requires one to two volunteers -
11:30 am - 2:30 pm
2:30 - 5:30 pm
5:30 - 8:30 pm
Venue: Level G, Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong
Responsibility:
To draw passerbys to the charity sale booth
To receive customers and answer enquiries
To assist in maintaining sales records
Requirement:
Full-time/ part-time undergraduate/ postgraduate students; full-time/ part-time/ retired staff; alumni
Able to work for at least one time slot
Fluent in Cantonese and English
