Launched by this Centre in 2015-16, the Social Enterprise Startup Scheme aims to encourage CUHK students and recent graduates to make good use of their expertise to establish or expand their social enterprises. We take pride in our mentorship programme which enables participants to gain valuable advice on formulating business plan and on operating skills under the guidance of experienced alumni and industry elites from other institutions. The mentors also provide participants with opportunities to widen their horizon and business network. Above all, participants may receive from the CUSE Fund a maximum of HK$100,000 as seed money to start up an enterprise with social mission and bring about a positive impact to the society.
