First launched in 2009 by the Office of the Arts Administrator, the Student Cultural Ambassadors Scheme has attracted over 1,500 full-time CUHK student participants over the years. This scheme is now recruiting new members—‘Friends of the Arts’ (FTA).  Applicants are required to register at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall in person with one recent photo. 

FTA members are eligible for a number of benefits, including subsidies on arts performances, attending arts appreciation talks and meeting professional artists from various fields, receiving up-to-date cultural information, participating in workshops at discounted prices, and upgrading their membership to student cultural ambassador for more benefits.

Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
