Prof. Wong Chack–kie, full-time member of the Central Policy Unit of the HKSAR Government and associate director of Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies, CUHK, held a dialogue with undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department of Social Work Department on 21 March. Focusing on poverty and social security in Hong Kong, the dialogue session took the form of a talk show, in which three student representatives interacted with Professor Wong after a general brief presentation by him. This event enabled students to have a deeper understanding about the difficulties encountered by policy makers and their think tanks during policy promotion and implementation.
