Notes for Updating to Duo Mobile 4.0.0

If users installed current Duo Mobile v3.x on their mobile device, and have automatic app updates enabled on their device, their Duo Mobile app would be upgraded automatically.  Alternatively, users can also update their Duo Mobile app manually.

In-place update is recommended, i.e. update the Duo Mobile app on your mobile device without removing the previous installed version first.  All your Duo accounts and third-party accounts will be automatically presented in Duo Mobile app after the update.

If you remove the previous installed Duo Mobile app and install the new version again, you will need to “Reconnect” all the accounts manually.
