促进正向思维与精神健康：管理相互影响的心理及生理状况
世界卫生组织指出，「没有精神健康就没有健康」。精神健康若出现问题，不仅会削弱个人的认知功能和情绪管理能力，更会增加罹患各种疾病的风险。近年，孤独感已成为全球性公共健康问题，当中对长者的影响尤甚。我们的研究团队致力于探讨重大精神健康问题的相关因素，并制订及评估多项认知及行为介入措施，以提升不同慢性病患者的身心健康。例如：
- 为思觉失调及精神分裂症患者提供的正念为本心理教育及依从性治疗；
- 评估新冠疫情对全球二十一个地区人口的精神健康之影响；及
- 了解孤独长者背后的故事。
