Professor Conny Chan has been serving as the School-based Clinical Co-ordinator and Chairperson of the Clinical Practice Committee at the Nethersole School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) since 2015, and the Assistant Programme Director (Clinical) of the Bachelor of Nursing programme (BNurs). She oversees and plans clinical placement schedules for students of BNurs and the Master of Nursing Science (Pre-registration) programme, and actively facilitates and participates in various clinical teaching and learning improvement projects for the School.

Professor Chan’s research interest focuses on peri-operative nursing and surgical nursing. In recognition of her outstanding publication, she was presented with the Mary Hanna Memorial Journalism Award in 2017. She was inducted as a Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Nursing (HKAN) in 2014.
