Biography
Dr. O’Reilly is a Registered Nutritionist (Nutrition Society of Australia) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a member of the Research Group for Physical Activity and Sport Nutrition at CUHK. His research focuses on the nutritional and metabolic aspects of exercise, physical activity, health promotion and the innovative development of e-learning strategies. He has provided scientific services (incl. physiological assessment, nutrition & hydration consultation) to professional soccer teams in Hong Kong as well as to the riders at the Hong Kong Jockey Club. His teaching focuses on Exercise Physiology, Nutrition, Research Methodologies and the theory and practice of various skill courses. He has published papers in numerous high-ranking academic journals and regularly presents his work at international academic conferences.
