Platinum Rating for CWC in the BEAM 4/04 Certification

CW Chu College is happy to share the good news with all students and friends that the Technical Review Panel of Building Environmental Assessment Method (BEAM) Society Limited has approved the highest rating of "Platinum" for the CW Chu College Campus.

BEAM is the local green building rating and assessment tool, aiming to provide the most cost effective management tool to benchmark building performance, identify and prioritize improvements. HK-BEAM is a rating tool based on more than 100 best practice criteria, divided into six categories:

• Site Aspects
• Materials Aspects
• Energy Use
• Water Use
• Indoor Environmental Quality
• Innovation

Successful new buildings are rated and classified as achieving the Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum standard.
