CW Chu College, with the help of entrepreneurs in the community, has started a programme on entrepreneurship in 2012–13 , which includes but not be confined to social enterprises.  This programme is intended to help those students who may be thinking of starting an entrepreneurial business upon graduation, whether to satisfy a social need, or to develop an innovation.

Four modules on social entrepreneurship were offered in 2012–13, in collaboration with  Education for Good. Two students were able to visit the  Yunus Centre in Bangladesh in summer 2013, to learn about and through a well-known social enterprise in micro-finance.
