This is a small group, semi-structured teaching course which is related to the students' coursework learning, but not formally tied to any particular course. It aims to help students to examine the meaning of helping and to reflect on their views on social work as a helping profession. Students are encouraged to review their own values, attitudes and commitments as well as related issues in pursuing a career in the human services.
