Tips for Applicants

  1. Do check your email daily. Both the Graduate Division of Social Work and the Graduate School will contact applicants for follow up, interview, etc. (if any) by email. It is possible that the emails are classified as spam or junk mails by email servers. So, please check both the “Inbox” and “Junk Mail” of your email account.
  2. Applicants are advised to make sure information are correct and complete before they submit their applications to the Online Application System. It is because applicants cannot make amendments by themselves once the application is reviewed in the Online Application System. In case revisions need to be made, please submit a request to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The requests will be handled, but not immediately.
  3. There is no need to submit the application documents to the Graduate Division in hard copies during the application stage. However, admitted students are required to send the original copies of the official transcripts and the documents verifying the fulfilment of the English Language Admissions Requirement to the Graduate Division by post/ in person according to the ‘Admission Notification’ for verification by the conditions fulfillment deadline. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to register and commence studies at the University.
