This course aims to help students understand different approaches in working with divorced couples and couples with marital distress. It examines the underlying philosophical assumptions, the major theoretical constructs and the application of marital therapy and divorce counselling with couples in Hong Kong. Emphasis will be placed on various concerns in marriage and couple relationship and divorce process.
