Prof. Hong Xu received the award for the paper “Software-defined Network Assimilation: Bridging the Last Mile Towards Centralized Network Configuration Management with NAssim”.

Prof. Michael Lyu is a world-renowned scholar in software reliability engineering. His research areas include software reliability, distributed systems, services computing, machine learning, and AI.

Mr. Zhong won the award with paper “Exploiting Functional Constraints in Automatic Dominance Breaking for Constraint Optimization”.

Dennis Gabor Award, a Lifetime Contribution Award, recognizes outstanding contributions to engineering applications of neural networks.

LaVi team won the Semantic Video Understanding track in LIC 2022.

The team won the award with “LogPAI: An Open-Source Project for Automated Log Analysis”.

Mr. LI won the award with his thesis “Irregular Deep Data Embedding and Learning”.

The paper is titled “MAT: Mask-Aware Transformer for Large Hole Image Inpainting”.

The team won the award with “Everest: A Top-K Deep Video Analytics System”.

Ziliang won the prize with his work “Deterministic Concurrency Control For Private Blockchains”.

Dr. Hao Ma won the Test of Time Award, which recognizes the significant impact his work made a decade ago in social computing that still influences work today!

Chen BAI and co-authors (Qi Sun, Jianwang Zhai, Yuzhe Ma, Bei Yu, Martin Wong) won William J. McCalla ICCAD Best Paper Award (Front-End Award) for their paper “BOOM-Explorer: RISC-V BOOM Microarchitecture Design Space Exploration Framework”.

Shiju LIN, Jinwei LIU and Tianji LIU, supervised by Prof. Evangeline F.Y. YOUNG, won the first place in 2021 CAD Contest at ICCAD.  Shiju LIN and  Jinwei LIU also won the second place in 2021 CADathlon at ICCAD.

An alumnus of CSE (class 2017), Kwan Hang together with his teammates won a silver medal for Hong Kong in the mixed pair boccia BC4 event at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
