Applicants must apply on-line:
Applicants should (i) have a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline; (ii) specialize in the study of Japan and be able to teach introductory courses in Japanese Studies to undergraduate major students and postgraduate courses for the MA programme in Japanese Studies; (iii) have native or near-native fluency in English, Japanese and Chinese. Relevant teaching experience in Japanese culture and society courses will be advantageous. Duties include (a) teaching the undergraduate and postgraduate courses mentioned above; (b) serving as an academic advisor and counsellor to students; and (c) other administrative duties as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing August 2022, renewable subject to performance, funding and mutual agreement.
