The Department invites applications for Part-time Lecturer(s)/Instructor(s) to teach elementary Japanese language course(s) for the undergraduate programme.  Applicants should (i) have a doctoral degree (for Part-time Lecturers)/ bachelor’s degree (for Part-time Instructors) in a relevant discipline, preferably in the field of Japanese language teaching/linguistics/translation; (ii) have native or near-native fluency in Japanese and Chinese / English; and (iii) have at least 2 years’ relevant classroom teaching experience in Japanese language courses.

Appointment will be made on contract basis, initially for one term commencing August 2020, renewable subject to performance, funding and mutual agreement.
