CUHK Holds Virtual Information Day and Physical Campus Visits this Saturday
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) will hold its Virtual Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions this Saturday (16 October). Students, parents and teachers can visit over 110 online booths wherever they are, and learn about the latest admissions information, as well as various academic programmes, college life and other learning opportunities at CUHK through live chats and ZOOM meetings. Professor Rocky S. Tuan, Vice-Chancellor and President of CUHK will give a speech to welcome all visitors via the online platform.
The Virtual Information Day provides a wide array of live admission talks and live chats sessions which will introduce different ways to get admitted into CUHK to suit the needs of students from different backgrounds. The talks will include the JUPAS and Non-JUPAS schemes for applicants with sub-degree or overseas qualifications and for applicants from the mainland. The first live admission talk for JUPAS students will be held at 10 am, focusing on the latest admission arrangement this year. Professor Alan K.L. Chan, Provost of CUHK will also deliver an address at the occasion.
Starting from 9 am on the event day, the CUHK logo will randomly flash on the screen of the Information Day online platform. The first 200 participants who successfully clicked on the CUHK logo 30 times can get a souvenir.
In addition, the University has arranged campus visits for those who are interested in visiting the campus of CUHK. Pre-registered guests can participate in guided tours led by student ambassadors and staff on that day to visit the stunning campus and key scenic spots such as the University Mall, Pavilion of Harmony and Lake Ad Excellentiam, and find out more about the university life.
