This course aims at providing a theological critique to the so called “professionalism” and its phenomenon. It is hoped that this can retrieve the meaning and calling of profession in the modern world, on the one hand, and enhance the students to develop a theological and relevant response to their own professions, on the other. Themes like culture, knowledge, power, professions, and economics will be employed in dialogue with theology.
