The “Humanity in the Sciences and Science in the Humanities” Academic and Pedagogical Conference
(June 2-4, 2005)

In celebration of the establishment of the RCGE, the Office of University General Education of the Chinese University of Hong Kong sponsored the “Humanity in the Sciences and Science in the Humanities” academic and pedagogical conference, which explored the commonalities in different intellectual fields and exchanged ideas on how to construct and teach general education courses within the bounds of Nature, Science, Technology and Environment so as to demonstrate humanitarian concern in scientific research.
