Following the 1st meeting in April 2014, a delegation of 15 members from CUHK as led by Prof. Fanny M.C. Cheung, Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Vice-President (Research), participated in the 2nd Meeting of the Steering Committee on Collaboration between The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), which was held at Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT) on 1 April 2015.
During the meeting, Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director of School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) and Co-Director of CUHK-Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health (GIBH) CAS Joint Research Laboratory on Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine; Prof. Lin Ge, Professor of SBS and Co-Director of CUHK-Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM) Joint Laboratory for Promoting Globalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine; and Prof. Nelson L.S. Tang, thematic Associate Member of SBS and Co-Associate Director of CUHK-Kunming Institute of Zoology (KIZ) Joint Laboratory of Bioresources and Molecular Research in Common Diseases shared the latest progress, the research achievements and the future development of the respective joint laboratories.
