United College Alumni of Year 1970 Mathematics Scholarship

A group of United College Mathematics alumni of the year 1970 made a donation to the Department of Mathematics of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The capital, as well as the interest/income generated from the fund, was used to award this scholarship from 2004-05 to 2011-12. The following regulations govern this scholarship:

• The amount of scholarship is HK$6,000.
• The scholarship is awarded to one non-first-year full-time undergraduate student with major in Mathematics. The recipient will be selected by the Department of Mathematics on the basis of academic merit. The recipient should have attained cumulative major GPA 3.0 or above.
