Professor Hing-Sun Luk Scholarship for Mathematics

A group of Mathematics alumni donated an initial sum to the Department. It is expected that the Department will continue to solicit donations for this fund. The capital and continuous donations, as well as the interest/income generated from the fund, have been used to establish this scholarship since 2012-13. The following regulations govern this scholarship:

• The amount of scholarship is HK$8,000.
• The scholarship is awarded to one full-time undergraduate student of third year or above with major in Mathematics. The recipient will be selected by the Department of Mathematics on the basis of academic merit with a preference for the performance in Geometry. The recipient should have attained cumulative major GPA 3.0 or above.
