During the delegation visit from Shanghai Jiao Tong University to The Chinese University of Hong Kong on 6 December 2013, its members including Prof. Ma Xiao-jing, Associate Dean, School of Life Science and Biotechnology, and Prof. Feng Yan, Chair, Department of Bioscience and Biotechnology, School of Life Science and Biotechnology were arranged to visit the School of Biomedical Sciences and had a meeting with Prof. Fung Kwok-pui, Associate Director (Administration). After the meeting, the guests were guided to tour the major research facilities available in the Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building.

The visit had enhanced the mutual understanding between Shanghai Jiao Tong University and our School, and at the same time, laid down a good foundation for possible collaborations and exchanges between the two parties.
