Led by Prof. Li Jia, Director of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), a 6-member delegation of SIMM met with members of the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) during the visit to The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 5 March 2019.
Upon arrival, Prof. Lin Ge, Professor of SBS first gave the visitors a brief introduction on the latest development of SBS. They were then arranged to have a tour of the Core Laboratories located in the Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building (LIBSB).
Indeed, our School has been in close collaboration with SIMM-CAS since the establishment of the CUHK-SIMM, CAS Joint Laboratory for Promoting Globalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which was set up by SBS and SIMM in 2011. The visit further enhanced our mutual understanding for extending our academic and research collaborations.
