Following previous participation, a delegation comprising Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director of School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS); Prof. Wan Chao, Associate Professor; Prof. Zhao Hui, Assistant Professor; Prof. Elmer Ker, Assistant Professor of the Institute for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (iTERM), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), as well as 14 research staff and postgraduate students took part in the Guangdong – Hong Kong Postgraduate Research Symposium on Regenerative Medicine 2017 held on 6 December 2017 at Jinan University, Guangzhou.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) Key Laboratory for Regenerative Medicine, with the support of the MOE Ten Thousand Student Interflow Programme 2017, Jinan University and CUHK. Its aim is to promote academic exchange among postgraduate students who were pursuing their studies in various fields of regenerative medicine.
During the Symposium, seven of our students gave oral presentations, while eight students participated in poster presentation session to compete for prizes with other students from Jinan University. With their exceptional performance, four of our students won oral presentation prizes and one student won poster presentation prize.
