The students of BSc in Biomedical Sciences Programme took part in the Summer Undergraduate Biomedical Research Attachment (SUBRA) 2021 organized by the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) between May and August 2021. With this in-house summer research attachment program, our BSc students were enabled to experience biomedical research in a practical environment so as to acquire various laboratory techniques, develop their potential and further explore career choices.

With the support of 15 principal investigators of SBS who served as the research mentors, a total of thirteen Year 1 students, eight Year 2 students and one Year 3 student participated in this research attachment program. To complete the attachment, the participating students were invited to deliver poster presentations on their selected research topics on 3 September 2021. Awards were presented to the students with most outstanding performances. Congratulations to the prize winners for their remarkable research presentations. The awardee list is as follows:
