Biographical / Historical

曾希穎 (1903-1985)，原名廣雋，字希穎，號彼庵、了庵、思堂，以字行。祖籍山東，後落籍廣東番禺，世居廣州。早歲遊學蘇聯莫斯科，習軍事政治。返國後為李宗仁幕僚，鬱鬱不得志，遂遁跡江湖，以詩酒自娛。少以詩名，工畫、善畫，為陳融所賞識，與熊潤桐、佟紹弼、余心一、李履庵並稱「南園今五子」，詩酒唱酬盛極一時。壯年居香港，歷任拔萃女書院、聖類斯中學、聯合書院及官立文商專科學校教席，五十年代又與廖鳳舒、劉伯端結堅社，提倡倚聲。著有《潮青閣詩》、《了庵詞》。
