About Us

The Architecture Library was established to support the teaching and research needs of students and faculty of the School of Architecture. The collection is international in scope and  covers the architectural areas of design, technology, construction, architectural practice, history and theory, as well as the related fields such as housing, environmental design, landscape architecture, computer-aided design, and city planning. One of the collection’s major foci is to develop in-depth coverage of Chinese and Asian architectural and planning topics. The Library also owns historical maps, working drawings and some special collections.

The Architecture Library was established in 1994 and moved to its home in the Lee Shau Kee Architecture Building (ARC) in September 2012. It is open 24 hours a day seven days a week for School of Architecture staff and students. For other users, please refer to the opening hours on the Library webpage.
