Library provides 24-Hour study facilities for users’ convenience when the library is closed.

Architecture Library

The Architecture Library opens 24 hours a day.  Access after Library opening hours is for School of Architecture staff and students only and must be validated by a CU Link Card at all times.

Learning Garden

CUHK staff and students may make use of the Learning Garden situated on the LG/F of the University Library which opens 24 hours a day during term time. Access to the Learning Garden after the library is closed must be validated by a CU Link Card.

G/F Reading Room of Chung Chi College Library

The G/F Reading Room of Chung Chi College Elisabeth Luce Moore Library opens 24 hours a day. Access to the G/F Reading Room must be validated by a CU Link Card.

LG/F of New Asia College Library

The LG/F of the New Asia College Ch’ien Mu Library opens 24 hours a day. Access to the LG/F must be validated by a CU Link Card. The LG/F is closed for 30 minutes for daily cleaning.

LG/F of United College Library 

The LG/F of the United College Wu Chung Library opens 24 hours a day. Access to the LG/F after the library is closed must be validated by a CU Link Card. The LG/F is closed for 15 minutes for daily cleaning.

Learning Commons

The Learning Commons, located on the 6th floor of Wu Ho Man Yuen (WMY) Building, is jointly managed by Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC) and Chinese University of Hong Kong Library. Access to the Learning Commons must be validated by a CU Link Card at all times.

The Medical Library opens 24 hours a day. Access to the Library must be validated by a CU Link Card or Library Card at all times.
