Stephanie King-chung Hung (BBA 1991) has had a stellar career in the IT sector. As a Senior Vice President of ST Engineering in Singapore, she describes herself as ‘A Thinker, A Maker and A Learner.’ She credits her time at #CUHK as having helped her succeed. Stephanie praises CUHK’s entrepreneurial events, such as its entrepreneur day and competitions, where angel investors are invited to evaluate students’ business plans, are helping to prepare students for real life experiences. “These events foster an atmosphere that inspires creativity, which is essential for promoting innovation and technology in the long run,” she says. She also urges CUHK students to gain overseas experience to broaden their horizons and global perspectives. She says international exposure is beneficial for careers whether students work in Hong Kong, Singapore or another country in the future.
