Zhou, Tao（周濤）

Biography

Mr. Zhou Tao currently serves as the President of JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group Greater China. Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Zhou was the President of Huatian International Hotel Management Co. ltd. Huatian Hotel Group is a publicly listed company on Shenzhen Stock Exchange and has close to 50 hotels in operation across China including locations in Beijing, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Changsha, Changchun and Paris, France.

Mr. Zhou previously worked for Country Garden Hotel Group as its president, Luneng Group Hotel Management Co. as its CEO. Before moving back to China at the end of 2012, Mr. Zhou also worked for 6 years at the hotel asset management division of Morgan Stanley Capital in Tokyo, Japan; and over 16 years in the areas of hotel operation and asset management in North America.

Mr. Zhou earned a BA from Shanghai International Studies University in China and an MBA from Queen’s University of Canada. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Hotel Asset Manager (CHAM). Mr. Zhou was a board member of Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA) Japan and at present serves the president of HAMA China. Mr. Zhou speaks Chinese, English and Japanese.
