Online Programme in Management Culture of Humanistic Buddhism

面對現代企業所發生的領導力及道德觀念問題,傳統文化應用於當代管理領域的價值逐漸受到關注。為致力於推展佛教教育,貫徹「佛法生活化」的人間佛教理念,香港中文大學「人間佛教研究中心」與財團法人佛光山「人間佛教研究院」合辦「人間佛教管理文化」線上課程。

星雲大師指出:「現在世界上各大學所開的課程中,以『企業管理』為熱門學科。提到管理,佛教很早就有一套獨特的管理學。」職是,人間佛教與現代管理思想的結合,能夠滿足現代人的生活需求,各行各業可借鏡佛法的思想義理,促進公司行號的道德規範,並讓員工和客戶獲得平穩與安詳的心境。此外,將佛法運用於公司行號的管理,形塑公司行號的文化,是「自覺式管理」的新模式與新趨勢。

Course Feature

• The world’s first online programme in Buddhist Management;
• Taught by renowned teachers in the academic and business circles;
• Organized by well-known university and Buddhist institute;
• Theories and practice learnt from the programme will be useful throughout their life.

Objective

1. Conduct strategic analysis and rational decision-making by combining the Buddhist management theory and practice;
2. Communicate and negotiate with customers by following the Buddha’s wisdom;
3. Improve leadership skills to lead employees with different personality and to increase team efficiency;
4. Provide methods to identify and analyze their ethical corporate social responsibility as well as establish corporate culture.

 

Structure

4 modules. 12 sessions for each modules. 48 sessions in total.

Schedule

Classes on Monday night (7-9:30pm), 3 sessions for each lesson. A tutorial will be held once a month. Students can complete this programme in 4 months (September 2021 ~ January 2022).
