Manuela Teresa Sousa Aguiar
Manuela Teresa Sousa Aguiar has been engaged in professional translation and interpretation for 32 years.
In 2011 and in 209, Manuela was awarded in recognition for her distinguished services with the medals of Macau SAR Civil Servant Dedication and Macau SAR Professional Merit.
Since 1992, she has also been teaching Chinese-Portuguese (both ways) translation and interpretation, and is currently a part time Interpretation lecturer for the Bachelor of Translation Course at the School of Language and Interpretation at Macau Polytechnic University.
From 2006 to 2019, Manuela served as the coordinator, teacher and supervisor of the Chinese-Portuguese Translation and Interpretation Internship Training Program and Internship Learning Program (6 editions in total) under the cooperation program between Macau SAR and European Commission.
