Courseware Development Grant Scheme (CDGS) for 2019-2022 is allocated by Teaching Development and Language Enhancement Grant (TDLEG) to facilitate the production of exemplary examples of micro-modules (MMs) and non-MM courseware, the promotion and capacity building for pedagogy research on eLearning, the development of high-quality Small Private Online Courses (SPOCs) from high-quality micro-modules, and the adoption of eLearning and innovative pedagogies.  CDGS is managed and monitored by the Sub-Committee on Education Technologies of the University’s IT Governance Committee (ITGC-SET).

CDGS and Micro-Module Courseware Development Grant Scheme (MMCDGS) are consolidated into one in 2019-22 so as to enhance flexibility on the part of teachers and make optimal use of the available funding to support the implementation of the eLearning Strategic and Action Plan 2019-22 and the MOOC Strategic and Action Plan 2019-22.

Application for the funding is now open. Interested teachers should refer to the Guidance Notes regarding assessment criteria, financial and reporting arrangements, and complete the application form.
