For those who intend to graduate in 2023, please note the following important dates:

Submit the final version of the thesis once the final grade of the thesis is available on the GS Platform (Students)
Note: Students who submit the final theses before 31 August 2023 would normally have the degree conferred within the same year. |
All thesis-related forms can be downloaded from the GS Platform (Students):
1. Go to “Thesis Related Matters”
2. Click “Procedures for Thesis Submission”
3. Choose either “New Procedures” (applicable to students whose External Examiner(s) nomination(s) was/were approved on 14 December 2020 or after) or “Conventional Procedures” (applicable to students whose External Examiner(s) nomination(s) was/were approved on or before 13 December 2020)
Students who belong to the “New Procedures” will submit their theses online. Hard copies or soft copies sent by email will NOT be accepted. To check which procedure to adopt, please perform the following steps:
1. Login GS Platform (Students)
2. Select “Thesis” > “Check Progress”
3. Refer to the field “Submit Thesis in CUSIS”
If the answer to that field is “Y” i.e. yes, please follow the procedures set out in the new procedures.
If the answer to that field is “N” i.e. no, please follow the procedures set out in the conventional procedures.
Checklist of documents to be submitted along with the first draft of thesis/portfolio (Reference: A Guide for Research Postgraduate and Taught Doctoral Students):
*The number of copies required depends on the number of examiners in the Thesis Assessment Committee.
