Facilities & Services
The University has a range of facilities and resources aimed at making academic inquiry as smooth, invigorating and pleasurable a process as possible. These University facilities also add extra dimensions to life on campus - from the artistic and cultural, to the recreational and athletic. And at CUHK, you can enjoy all the conveniences of Hong Kong's urban centre without the hassle.
Computing Resources
The whole campus, including classrooms, student hostels, teaching blocks, academic and administrative buildings, are connected to the University Campus Backbone Network via high-speed Gigabit Ethernet links. Connections within the campus network are via high speed 10 Gigabit or Gigabit Ethernet links.
Students enjoy round-the-clock access to the personal computers in the Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC). Some faculties and departments also provide personal computers to students.
