Call for Applications: ACU Fellowships 2021 (Deadline extended to 22 June 2021)

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Fellowships are now open for application.

These fellowships support partnerships between ACU member universities, including CUHK. The collaboration should cover a minimum of six months and take place between September 2021 and August 2022. Each fellowship provides funding of up to GBP5,000. The funding is intended for virtual collaboration only and will not fund physical travel.

The following is a list of fellowships that are open for application by academic and/or professional staff at CUHK.

1. Accountancy Fellowship (Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales)

3. Canada Fellowships – two fellowships are available:

  • For a member outside Canada, including CUHK, to partner with a Canadian institution.
  • For a Canadian member to partner with an institution outside Canada, including CUHK.

  • Information technology and management
  • STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects
  • Sustainable development
  • University development and management
4. Hong Kong Jockey Club Fellowships – two fellowships are available:

  • For a member from Hong Kong institutions, including CUHK, to work with a partner overseas.
  • For a member from an institution outside Hong Kong to work with a partner institution in Hong Kong, including CUHK.
5. Information Technology and Computer Science Fellowship (Jacky McAleer Memorial)
  • Information technology
  • Computer science
6. Swansea Fulton Climate Action Fellowships – two fellowships are available:

The fellowships are open to application by members outside the UK, including CUHK, to partner with a researcher at Swansea University.

  • Climate action

In some circumstances, the above fellowships can be used for collaboration between universities and the private sector. For more details, please contact acufellowships@acu.ac.uk.

 

Application
Interested applicants must first identify and approach a collaborator at an ACU member university outside Hong Kong. Applications and the required information should be submitted via the online application system. The application will close on 22 June, 2021 at 15:00 UTC.
