Call for Applications: Wellcome Trust – Biological Vulnerability to Extreme Heat in Maternal and Child Health
The Wellcome Trust in the UK is inviting funding applications to support research that advances the understanding of biological vulnerability to extreme heat in the context of maternal and child health.
Highlights of the scheme
- Each award provides up to £2 million of funding with a duration of three to five years.
- The lead applicant should be based at an eligible organisation in any country (apart from mainland China).
- Funding priority will be given to research in disadvantaged communities in low, middle or high-income countries, as well as comparative research across multiple groups and geographies.
Interested applicants should complete the online application through the Grant Management System by 8 August, 2022 at 23:59 Hong Kong Time. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit full application in September 2022.
